The mission of the Long Island Life Sciences Initiative (LILSI) is to attract, retain and develop life sciences companies in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, nutriceutical and personal care sectors on Long Island by providing business development, strategic networking, and educational opportunities to enhance corporate competitiveness, productivity, efficiency and profitability. LILSI is focused on creating a nurturing business environment that comprehensively supports the life sciences community on Long Island by working to address issues of strategic importance to the long-term growth and sustainability of the life sciences sector in the region.
