SV Life Sciences Nabs $274 Million Toward Sixth Healthcare Fund

Boston venture capital firm SV Life Sciences has raised $274 million toward its sixth fund for life sciences startups, according to federal filings.

The company hasn’t announced whether the filing represents the closing of the fund, which began accepting investors a year ago with a target size of $400 million. SV Life Sciences didn’t respond to a request for comment.

At $274 million, SV Life Sciences Fund VI would be below the average of the past five funds raised by the firm.
