NewMed Release: How PEMF Therapy Can Help To Improve Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Awareness Week, organised by the NRAS, occurs on 19-25th June this year and is an important week to raise awareness and challenge misconceptions and attitudes about RA1. This year NewMed want to make people aware that the use of Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Fields (PEMF) technology offers RA sufferers a drug-free, pain-relief therapy that can also help improve their mobility and help them reduce their pain medication.
RA is a chronic autoimmune disease where the body mistakenly attacks healthy tissue causing pain, swelling, stiffness and loss of function in the joints2. It is estimated that approximately 350 million people in the world have arthritis3.
