Man Uses Fitbit To Show How A Break-Up Affected His Heart Rate

When Israeli entrepreneur Koby Soto answered a call from his partner, he wasn't expecting his relationship to end. But it did, and his Fitbit was able to capture his shock.

Turns out his heart responded to the traumatic event by spiking up to nearly 118 beats per minute. His resting heart rate that morning was 72 beats per minute, where lower resting heart rates usually imply greater cardiac efficiency.
