Longer Commute May Add 800 Calories To Your Week

The next time you jump in your car, grab a subway or catch a bus to work, be careful about the types of foods you bring with you, as results of a new report point to the risks of longer commutes adding calories to your diet and inches to your waistline.

A new report report released by the Royal Society for Public Health describes how commuters who consume foods high in fat and sugar–typically triggered by stress–can potentially add up to 800 calories weekly to their overall intake.
