Medical device maker ConvaTec will shutter its Skillman office and lay off 118 employees in the sales, marketing and human resources divisions, the company confirmed today. ConvaTec will keep about 100 support staff employees from the Somerset County location, and they will operate from a smaller office in New Jersey, said spokesman Robert McKee. The location has not been determined. The company's two-building campus just off Route 206 in Skillman will be closed at the end of April, McKee said.
